Disclaimers

  • All perfumed body oils listed on this website are inspired by the designer named scent, which are the trademarks of their respective owners. Sweet Ambience does not have any associations with them nor do we claim that the perfumes oils are designed by them.

  • The information contained on this website is has been compiled from published sources and is provided only as a guide. Although every effort has been taken to ensure that information published on this site is correct and up to date, Sweet Ambience cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information presented and accepts no liability in respect of any omission or error. 

Safety and Allergy Guidelines

Be sure to follow these safety guidelines before using beauty products from Sweet Ambience:

  • Our beauty products contain butters and oils from natural nuts, seeds, and fruit. If you have any allergies please read the product ingredients carefully. It is recommended for those with sensitive skin perform a spot test first to ensure you do not have any adverse reactions. If irritation occurs discontinue use.

  • Our beauty products and body oils, in rare cases, can cause sensitivity with certain individuals. If sensitivity occurs, discontinue use immediately.

  • Sweet Ambience accepts no liability in the unlikely event of an adverse reaction occurring when using one of its products.

  • Products and advice made by Sweet Ambience make no claim to cure or prevent any disease, disorder or medical issue and is not intended to substitute professional medical advice.

  • In the case of pregnancy please consult with your health care professional.

 

Handcrafted Products

  • Handmade soaps differ from batch to batch and the appearance, size, shape, color, and texture of the soaps vary accordingly. We do not use chemicals to stabilize the soap as commercial makers do, this is to keep our soaps as natural as possible.

  • Each handcrafted glass blown item is sold separately, you can request the color of your choice. There may be slight variance on color (the color hues can vary with the lighting) and decorative embellishments, and other than the color, we cannot guarantee which one you will be sent. 

Shipping Policy

  • Most items are ​ready to ship in 1–3 business days. All items are shipped from our corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

  • For all bespoke cold processed soap orders, please allow 8-10 weeks for creation and curing as natural handmade soap requires a minimum cure time of 4-6 weeks. If you need this for a special event, order at least 2 months prior if possible to ship and arrive in time.

  • Tracking numbers are provided for all orders. You will receive your tracking number when your order is shipped.

  • If an order is returned or marked as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address, please contact us. Once received, the order can be resent for just the cost of shipping. Please note that we do not accept cancellations for returned orders.​

  • It is the buyer's responsibility to notify us if the goods have not been received within 7 days of the estimated delivery date or receipt of your shipment confirmation email. If no notification is made within this time period the buyer shall be deemed to have received the goods.


Return & Exchange Policy

  • Cancellations are not accepted, please contact customer service if you have any problems with your order.

  • Contact customer service within 7 days of delivery, if you would like a refund or exchange. 

  • Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

  • Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, ​the following items can't be returned or exchanged:

    • Used beauty products (must be in unopened original packaging)

    • Custom or personalized orders

    • Items on sale

  • Once your goods have been returned to us within the above stated time frame and passed quality checks, we will process your refund request. Your refund will be processed in the original payment format as your purchase was made within 30 days of the initial return request received via email.

Request-A-Scent

  • A pre-payment will be required for all special requests if we are unable to fulfill your request you will receive an email with a refund confirmation. 

  • A minimum purchase of 1 oz will be required to place your special request.

  • All requests will require at least a 5 - 7 business days for processing and an additional 1 - 3 business days for shipping.

  • A confirmation email will be sent with your tracking number once it has been shipped from Sweet Ambience headquarters.      

Out-of-Stock Items

  • We make every effort to maintain accurate inventory information online and to prevent out-of-stock items. However, due to the volume of orders we receive and the variety of ordering methods available to our customers, it is possible for items to sell out before we are able to fill all pending orders.

  • Should your order contain an item or items which are out-of-stock, we will send you an email notification when the order is shipped and our final charge to your credit card reflects only the items you receive, and you will not be charged for any out-of-stock items.

  • We do not place items on backorder, but you can place a new order when new shipments are received.

Damaged Items

  • If you receive a shipped item that is delivered damaged, for example, a broken bottle, please let us know immediately via email. Damaged items will, of course, be replaced at no charge to you. Digital pictures of the damaged item(s) will be required. We respond to each and every email promptly, if you do not see an email from us within 24 hours please check your spam folder.

Free Gifts

  • Please remember when we give a free gift, it is exactly that, it is free, there is no value or warranty expressed or implied.

  • If you have purchased an item that you would like to return (exchanges excluded) and it had a free gift with it, you will be required to return the free gift as well.  

Privacy Policy

  • Your credit card information is entered on a secure, encrypted server, we never see it. We only use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order to complete that order. We do not share this information with any outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.   

  • Cookies are only used on the site are needed to keep your shopping cart "alive" while you browse. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive or to confirm an order. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. Lastly, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

Promotions, Giveaways, and Contests (Prizes/Rewards)

  • By entering a Promotion you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions along with any other Specific Rules which relate to a Promotion. Specific Rules might include entry instructions and any other specific details, rules or conditions relating to a particular Promotion, and might be published on our or our promotion partners' website, social media platforms, or may be found in any other media which features a Promotion. The Specific Rules will usually (but may not always) refer to these terms and conditions.

  • Each Promotion will start immediately (i.e. as soon as it is first promoted), unless a later start date/time is specified. The closing date/time for a Promotion will be made clear in the Specific Rules or the relevant promotional materials. All times will be based on EST time.

  • Each Promotion will be open to individuals who are US residents.

  • You may only make a maximum of one entry into each Promotion (unless the Specific Rules for a particular Promotion expressly set a higher maximum number of entries for that Promotion).

  • There is no charge to enter a Promotion. However, if entry is made via text message, MMS or telephone call, your network provider will usually charge according to their standard rate or deduct it from your allowance. If entry is made by text message, be sure to use the correct shortcode; be aware that shortcodes change from Promotion to Promotion. In all cases, please check with your service provider for more details. If you are not the bill payer, you must obtain the bill payer's permission before entering.

  • For each Promotion, there will be only one grand prize winner unless otherwise specified. 

  • If you win a prize, we will notify you within fourteen (14) days of the end date of the Promotion. To claim the prize, respond to the notification within the deadline set out in the Specific Rules (or within 28 days if no time frame is set in the Specific Rules within the notification) and follow the instructions which will be provided to you.

  • The prize or prizes will be as described in the relevant Specific Rules. Imagery may be for illustrative purposes only, and colors and other minor details may vary.

  •  Each prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available.

  • If we consider it necessary or appropriate, a prize or prizes (or part thereof) might be varied or swapped for a suitable alternative which will be decided in our sole discretion.

  •  If you fail to claim the reward/prize within the time-limit or fail to comply with any other instructions or time-limits notified to you or provide us with incorrect or fraudulent information, you will forfeit your right to the prize. We will then select an alternative winner.

  • The prize cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, promotions, or prizes.

  • Unless otherwise stated in the Specific Rules, you may not win more than one prize per Promotion and we reserve the right to withhold or reclaim any second or subsequent prize.

  •  Unless the Specific Rules state otherwise, you will be responsible for shipping expenses in relation to the prize.

  •  If you win a prize, you may be required to take part in reasonable publicity.

  • We may publish and publicize your name, image, social media handle, and/or profile picture, and your entry, and we may refer to your with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes.

  • By entering a Promotion or submitting a video, image, audio file, or any other materials in relation to a Promotion (including as part of the entry process or as part of a prize) or if you tag or mention us directly or indirectly in any photo, video or content in connection with the Promotion, you agree that we can re-post, re-tweet, publicize and otherwise use that photo, video or content (with or without any accompanying comments and information like your handle and profile pic). You agree that we can do that via the same platform(s) that you posted or shared the photo, video, or content, as well as via other social networks and platforms that we use, and on our websites. However, obviously we'll never sell or charge anyone for copies of your photos, videos, or other content (without your approval). And, just to be clear, unless otherwise expressly stated in the Specific Rules, you will remain the owner of the rights (e.g. copyright) in your photo, video, or other content, but you agree not to use all or any of them in connection with a competitor of ours. You waive your moral rights in relation to the same.
